Summary

We're looking for a Data Technician to join our Digital Operations team based in Exeter.

Location: Exeter Hours: 42.5 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



What will you be responsible for?

As a Data Technician, you'll be working within the Digital Operations team, supporting them in maintaining high-quality GIS data and providing exceptional customer service. You'll be digitising and maintaining accurate asset data while responding to client enquiries with care and professionalism. This collaborative role offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a supportive environment where your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be highly valued.

Your day to day will include:

-Digitising asset data with precision onto Kier GIS systems and managing data exports

-Responding to enquiries through our ticketing system with care and efficiency

-Coordinating with utility companies to acquire essential asset information

-Creating online web applications through AGOL to enhance data accessibility

-Supporting the capture of asset location and condition using various technologies

What are we looking for?

This role of Data Technician is great for you if:

-You have experience using ESRI ArcGIS and AGOL with strong attention to detail

-You're proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data management tasks

-You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships

-You're a collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

-You're passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and support
