Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates, soil, construction materials, and waste safely and efficiently to and from various sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, vehicle care, and excellent customer service when working with clients and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect materials from construction sites, quarries, recycling facilities, and customers.

  
  

• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects in accordance with company and legal requirements.

  
  

• Ensure loads are secure, safe, and compliant with weight regulations.

  
  

• Tip loads safely and responsibly on site while following site health and safety procedures.

  
  

• Maintain accurate delivery notes, logs, and tachograph records.

  
  

• Communicate effectively with transport planners, site managers, and customers.

  
  

• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and well maintained.

  
  

• Follow all road transport laws, driver hours, and working time regulations.

  
  Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

    
    

  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.

    
    

  • Digital tachograph card.

    
    

  • Previous tipper driving experience preferred (training may be provided).

    
    

  • Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations.

    
    

  • Strong time management and reliability.

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

    
    Desirable Skills

    • Experience working within construction, aggregates, or waste transport.

      
      

    • Knowledge of local routes and construction sites.

      
      

    • Good communication and customer service skills.
