A supportive SEN school in Wigan is currently looking for a committed and proactive individual to take on the role of School Receptionist within their administrative team. The role is full-time and available to start straight away, offering weekly pay of up to £600. For the right candidate, there is also the potential for the role to become permanent.
The Role - School Receptionist
As School Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. This varied role offers excellent exposure to different areas of school operations including administration, HR processes, and record management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Welcoming visitors and signing them in securely in line with safeguarding procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems
- Supporting general administrative duties within the school office
- Assisting with documentation, communication, and organisational tasks
Experience with Hubmis school management software would be highly beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
