- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise and working closely with other educators, therapists, and support staff to coordinate holistic care for SEND students.
- Identify and address any barriers to learning, working closely with the wider school community to create an accessible and supportive environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and educational strategies in the SEND field.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and empowers SEND students to reach their full potential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Extensive experience working with SEND students in a school or educational setting
- A deep understanding of special educational needs and disabilities, with a proven track record of delivering effective, evidence-based teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
