Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, term time
Pay: From £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP - ongoing long-term position
Are you confident, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people in education?
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary and SEN schools. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their work and maintaining engagement
- Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
