Summary

EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEND Support!


Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: From £102 per day
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne



Are you enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about supporting early years learners? We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, with opportunities to support children with SEND.



What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting children with their early learning and development
- Assisting with play-based activities, phonics, and classroom routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement
- Supporting children with SEND to access learning and achieve their potential
- Helping the class teacher create a fun, nurturing, and safe learning environment



We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is friendly, patient, and supportive
- Enjoys working with young children in an EYFS setting
- Has experience or interest in supporting children with SEND
- Can work well as part of a team
- Ideally has experience in early years education (not essential for the right candidate!)



Requirements:
- Valid DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check - or willing to apply
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to provide professional references covering the last 2 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
