About The Role
Sodexo, are looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to lead a small well established team atNestlé.This is a hands-on role where you willoversee all aspects of daily operations, from food preparation and service tohygiene and team support. Working closely with your team, you will ensure thatmeals are delivered efficiently, to a high standard, and in a clean andwelcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team in food preparation, serving, and hygiene.
- Ensure all meals are prepared, presented, and served to company standards.
- Operate the till and manage payments, completing necessary service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised catering environment.
- Monitor food consumption, control waste, and support budget targets.
- Conduct opening/closing audits, stock checks, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Coach and guide team members to maintain consistent performance and service standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience in catering or food service.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene/Food Handler certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
- High standards of hygiene, organisation, and professionalism.
- Ability to work proactively and make decisions under pressure.
Desirable: COSHH and First Aid training.
