Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Up to £31,000



Children spend their day moving between large playrooms and a spacious outdoor area designed for exploration, messy play, and active learning. Each room is set up for a different age group, giving practitioners the space to run activities properly and focus on their key children. The day naturally moves between play, learning, outdoor time, and routines, with practitioners planning activities, supporting development, and creating a warm, engaging environment for the children in their care.



Before You Apply



  • This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

  • Applicants should have recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • This position is not suitable for candidates WITHOUT a recognised Level 3 childcare training.



Key Job Details



  • Salary: Up to £31,000 per year

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

What You’ll Need



  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or recognised equivalent)

  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner

  • Knowledge of EYFS and early childhood development

  • Ability to manage a group of children safely within nursery ratios



What You’ll Do



  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework

  • Observe, assess, and record children’s development and learning progress

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised playroom environment

  • Build professional relationships with parents and carers

  • Work closely with colleagues to manage routines, ratios, and daily planning

  • Follow safeguarding, health, and early years compliance standards
