We are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to oversee, deliver, and continuously improve the induction and ongoing training programmes for our placemakers.​

This role ensures full compliance with contract requirements while embedding a strong service culture and delivering engaging, impactful learning experiences across the account.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable learning professional who can manage the LMS, evaluate training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and lead the rollout of the placemakers pathway.​

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, develop an annual learning plan, and use data to drive continuous improvement across all programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver the induction programme for all placemakers.

Lead the delivery and embedding of service culture training initiatives.

Ensure training compliance with contract and operational requirements.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all learning programmes.

Oversee the LMS, including tracking, reporting, and training renewals.

Analyse workforce skill gaps to inform future training needs.

Lead the rollout of the placemakers pathway.

Deliver high-impact training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.

Contribute to the annual learning plan and develop processes for critical and role-specific training.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Expertise in designing and delivering engaging training and induction programmes, including train-the-trainer.

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Proficient in LMS platforms and training technologies.

Experience evaluating training impact and embedding organisational culture, diversity, and service excellence.

Skilled in project management and stakeholder collaboration.

Able to promote and reinforce safety-first practices across all training activity.
