Summary
As an Business Service Assistant, you'll be involved in lots of different tasks as you support the day-to-day running of the office. This is a busy and varied job; no two days will be the same. You’ll have an important part to play in your team meeting its goals, so you’ll always be looking at how you can offer help where needed.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
Hours: 18 hours per week. You'll work Wednesday – Friday, for 6 hours per day.
The advertised salary for this role will be in effect from 1st April
What it's like to work here
You’ll be line managed by the Facilities Manager, and work with the Business Services Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of the property. You’ll be involved in anything from booking in contractors on behalf of the Facilities Manager to supporting with facilities administration, and supporting with property accounting and visitor enquiries. The team also includes a Facilities Co-ordinator who is based at another property in the portfolio and a few volunteers that support with administration and facilities. Training will be provided on all relevant property systems that are used

You’ll be helping to run a business service for the wider team that is efficient, proactive and flexible. Your responsibilities may include managing people’s diaries and records, helping with system and financial management, creating reports and other general administrative tasks.
