Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to work within the rapidly expanding Purchase to Pay team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust based in the newly refurbished Corporate Services Business Unit at Trafford General Hospital. The team is responsible for the payment of over 250,000 invoices per annum, and is working to automate procedures throughout the department.
The Post Holder will be required to ensure the day-to-day running of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Invoice registration and matching process, working in conjunction with the Accounts Payable team and the dedicated Finance RPA lead.
The Post Holder will assist with management of the Inbox that Invoices and Credit Notes are sent to, preparing files for upload to the ABBYY Vantage system, manual corrections of uploads in the ABBYY Vantage system where necessary, maintenance of the ABBYY Vantage template environment, reviewing the log files created by both the registration and matching process, adding new suppliers to the process as and when required, dealing with queries from the Accounts Payable team and linking in with both Accounts Payable and Tax management to refine the processes.
The Post Holder, along with the rest of the RPA team are first line contacts for all matters relating to the Invoice registration and Invoice matching RPA process. The Post Holder must ensure queries relating to these processes are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
The Post Holder will undertake any ad-hoc duties as requested by their line manager and Accounts Payable management.
