More detail about the role This is an exciting opportunity to work within the community nursing team at South Molton. This role is a fixed term and will end on 31st December 2026. We have a supported team who work within patients homes and in a clinic setting to deliver evidenced based care to our most vulnerable patients. You will get the opportunity to learn more skills and work within a supportive environment. Working to keep people as independent as possible within their own homes and undertaking tasks such as wound care (compression bandaging), pressure area care, PICC line care, catheter care as well as supporting patients and their families through the last few weeks of their lives, giving them the opportunity to die with dignity and within their own wishes if we can. This is an exiting post that is very varied and we work closely with our therapy, hospice and GP colleagues to name a few. It is expected that the successful applicant will work on a rota for weekends and this is currently 1 in 3 weekends but we are hoping this will extend to 1 in 4 weekends. If you join before this date,, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2025/26 | NHS Employers) This is a fixed term contract until 31/12/2026.
