Summary
We are seeking a Trainee Windscreen Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and replacing windscreens and vehicle glass on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in learning a new trade in the Automotive Industry.
The selected Candidate will be required to learn the following.
• Remove damaged or broken windscreens using appropriate hand tools
• Prepare vehicle surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of new windscreens
• Install new windscreens accurately, ensuring a secure fit and optimal visibility
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet safety standards
• Assist with vehicle inspection and identify potential issues related to windscreen installation
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Use heavy lifting techniques when handling large or heavy windscreens safely and effectively
