The Role
The Contact Supervision Worker will support safe and structured family time between children and their parents or carers. You will transport children to and from contact sessions, supervise interactions, ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, and provide clear written reports on each session. This role is essential in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and maintaining important family relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Collecting and safely transporting children to and from contact sessions

Supervising contact between children and their parents in line with agreed procedures

Completing written reports using the required template after each session

Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Contact Manager and allocated social worker

Supporting duty arrangements within the service

Using computer systems and applications as required

Ensuring contact rooms are clean, safe, and meet Health & Safety standards

Attending training sessions as required

Carrying out additional duties within the scope of the role and grade

Candidate Requirements
Experience working with children, young people, or families

Strong safeguarding awareness and ability to follow procedures

Excellent communication and observational skills

Ability to write clear, factual reports

Reliable, professional, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries

Confident using basic IT systems

Ability to travel as required for transporting children

Enhanced DBS required
