Summary
Photography/Art Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role from April 2026 until October half term, four days per week

Duties as Photography/Art Teacher:
- Teach Photography and Art four days a week across relevant year groups
- Deliver creative practical and theory‑based lessons in line with curriculum expectations
- Support pupils in developing confidence, technical skill, and artistic understanding
- Maintain a safe and well‑organised classroom or studio environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Photography/Art Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Photography and/or Art
- Confident delivering practical and technical skills safely and effectively
- Strong behaviour and classroom management
- Creative, organised, and able to motivate pupils of mixed abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
- Dedicated to safeguarding and supporting pupil well‑being
