The Package
Permanent contract
40 hours per week
Agile – working at properties across North Wales (predominately working in the Anglesey, Caernarfon and Bangor). A works vehicle will be provided.
Salary of £37,957 per annum
Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)

The Role – Gas Engineer
This is a field-based role working at North Wales Housing properties across North Wales, where you’ll be responsible for providing a quality maintenance and refurbishment service to both occupied and empty properties, within specific timescales in a manner that demonstrates a high regard for customer care, standard of workmanship and efficiency. This will involve:
Providing a full range of gas and plumbing maintenance
Provide all paperwork and certificates are completed in accordance with Legislation
Contribute to community involvement to support a proactive gas service (Interact with tenants and other trades) to provide excellent customer service
Provide support and guidance to Apprentices and Trainees
Our Requirements – Gas Engineer
A recognised qualification such as NVQ3 and/or City and Guilds along with gas safe registration
3-years minimum experience preferably in social housing
Experience of undertaking a wide range of general gas/building works
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic IT skills, including MS office packages.
Full UK drivers’ licence
Able to attend emergency situations outside normal working hours (on a rota basis)
Comfortable with everyday conversations/discussion in Welsh (or a willingness to improve your Welsh language skills to the required level)
Work requires heavy lifting and carrying and operation of hand and power tools. All equipment should be used in compliance with health and safety legislation
