Summary
HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver – £17.24 per hour
Location: Oxted, RH8 area
Pay Rate: £17.24 per hour (paid weekly every Friday)
Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Friday
â° Hours: 6:00am – 4:30pm
KPI Recruiting are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in Oxted (RH8 9EH). Our client is a well-established waste management company focused on transforming waste into valuable resources and reducing environmental impact.
The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse vehicle while working as part of a small team to collect waste from residential areas. You will also support loaders when required and ensure all scheduled collections are completed safely and efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive and operate a Class 2 dustcart/refuse lorry
•
Collect waste from designated residential routes
•
Ensure all bins and additional collections are completed
•
Assist with moving and returning domestic wheelie bins where required
•
Work closely with loaders as part of a team
•
Maintain high safety and service standards
Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
•
Digital Tachograph Card & Driver CPC
•
Minimum 3 months Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months
•
Strong work ethic and reliability
•
Good communication and teamwork skills
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Previous experience in waste or recycling is advantageous but not essential.
