Role Overview

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Trafford that is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a long-term position. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum


  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated


  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback


  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners


  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members


  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

    Candidate Requirements
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5


    • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum


    • Excellent classroom management skills


    • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education


    • Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
