Applications are invited for the post of Disability & Neurodiversity Co-Ordinator working within the Directorate of Student Life at Royal Holloway University of London. This is a job-share role.
This part-time role provides an exciting opportunity to support the work of the Disability & Neurodiversity team and play an important role in the delivery of Royal Holloway’s wellbeing and experience offering. The Directorate of Student Life includes a broad range of student facing teams who are core to the student journey: Active Lifestyle & Sport, Chaplaincy, Counselling & Mental Health, Disability & Neurodiversity, Hall Life, International & Money Advice, Student Engagement & Insights and Wellbeing Support & Community.
Reporting to the Head of Disability & Neurodiversity they will contribute to the work of the Directorate and support the strategy and aims of the University and Student Journey Division. Role holders will be expected to demonstrate our University values - being Daring, Innovative, Open and Respectful – in their work and be a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion.
They will be required to provide general administrative support to the Disability & Neurodiversity team and work closely with disabled students.
We are also seeking a candidate who has the administrative skills and confidence to oversee the coordination of DSA support for students, who has a strong understanding of what makes a good student experience, and someone who is comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
With roles in Student Life there is a need for 60%+ campus-based working to enable in-person student appointments (based on student preference and need) with opportunity for hybrid working at other times.
