As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting core financial processes and ensuring transactions are managed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of the contributions collection process, including monitoring clearance accounts and investigating outstanding items.
- Setting up ad hoc payments and account transfers within the banking platform for authorisation.
- Handling and resolving queries from both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Overseeing payments to ensure transactions are correctly allocated
- Producing cash management reports to identify potential shortfalls
- Supporting month-end financial activities, including preparing accruals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting the wider Finance team with operational tasks and contributing to ongoing finance projects and improvements.
Essential:
- Experience managing high-volume financial transactions
- A background in transactional accounting, including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, or sales ledger activities.
- Experience setting up UK and international payments and processing account transfers through banking systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and investigate variances.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
