I am looking for an adventurous, patient individual to support my son to access activities, that as a wheelchair user, I cannot support him to access. We live in Morpeth and the support is for:

  • 4 hours per week term time
  • 6 hours per week holidays
  • There are an additional 2 hours every week available, if the successful applicant is willing and able to commit to these
We have flexibility with the hours and would prefer to make use of a block one weekend per month and use the other hours on an evening each week to access activities closer to home. Days and hours are flexible for the right applicant and will be discussed at interview. My son is 10 years old, and I would describe him as energetic, fun and impulsive. He is very quick witted and loves to be outside whatever the weather. The activities he would like to access are:
  • Beach days
  • Clip & Climb
  • Water parks or swimming pools with slides
  • Anything trains related
  • Making videos of his activities
The ideal worker will be:
  • Fun loving and carefree
  • Energetic, active and up for adventures
  • Local to the Morpeth area
  • A car driver with access to their own vehicle
  • Experienced at supporting individuals with ADHD and Autism
A budget will be provided by myself to cover the cost of all activities, and I will pay mileage at 45p per mile. More information on this will be discussed at the interview.
