We work in close partnership with parents and carers to ensure the very best start for our children.
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Nursery team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
Essential Requirements
A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
Experience of working within an Early Years setting
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences
Work with individuals and small groups of children to promote progress
Provide high-quality interactions to support language, communication and social development
Assist in planning and preparing stimulating indoor and outdoor learning activities
Observe, assess and record children’s development in line with school procedures
Promote positive behaviour and model high expectations
Support children with additional needs where required
Help maintain a safe, organised and welcoming learning environment
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor provision
