The home offers 119 purpose designed bedrooms across three floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia support and residential mental health care within a safe, structured and supportive environment focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.

- Full time and part time contracts available
- Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will help ensure the home remains clean, safe and welcoming for residents, visitors and staff. Your work will play an important role in maintaining a comfortable living environment that supports residents’ wellbeing.
You will carry out a range of cleaning duties across residents’ bedrooms, communal areas and facilities within the home, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. Working closely with the housekeeping team and other departments, you will help ensure the home remains well presented and organised.
You will clean and maintain furniture, fittings and equipment, as well as ensuring bathrooms and sanitary areas are hygienic and fully stocked. You will also support with waste removal and ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely.
In addition, you may assist with laundry tasks when required, ensuring residents’ clothing and linen are handled carefully and returned correctly. Your role will involve following infection control procedures and health and safety guidelines to help maintain a safe environment for everyone within the home.
Working as part of the wider team, you will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where residents feel comfortable and supported.

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
