Contract: Full Time and Part- Time Salary: £12.70 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full Time and Part TimeLocated in the heart of the Greenlaw Mains community, Glencorse Care Home is a brand new, purpose built luxury care home opening soon. With 54 beautifully designed en suite bedrooms, the home will provide high quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Care Assistant
- £12.70 per hour
- Full time and part time contracts available
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided and free onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with everyday activities including personal care, meals, mobility and social engagement while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Working as part of the founding care team, you will help create a positive, person centred environment as the home prepares to welcome its first residents. You will follow individual care plans, support residents with daily routines and respond to their needs with patience, kindness and respect.
You will also build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where residents feel safe, comfortable and valued.
What We Are Looking For
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential
- Previous care experience is welcomed but not required as full training will be provided
- A compassionate and caring approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
