Learning Resources Assistant
Location: Mercia Academy, Swadlincote Salary: Grade 7 (£26,832 - £28,146 pro-rata) Part- time hours (27.5 hours per week) and term time (40 weeks per academic year) Closing Date: Sunday 29 March 2026
Mercia Academy is seeking a passionate and organised Learning Resources Assistant to support the effective operation of our Learning Resource Centre and reprographics services. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of reading, support curriculum delivery, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment. Key highlights of the role: Supervise and manage the Learning Resource Centre. Support pupils and staff with library services and IT queries. Deliver inductions and promote reading across the Academy. Operate and maintain reprographics equipment and services. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning.
