As a Reception Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring every guest experiences a seamless and memorable stay from arrival through to departure. Supporting the Reception Manager, you will guide and inspire the front office team to deliver warm, attentive service while maintaining the highest standards across the guest journey.

You will
  • Create a warm and welcoming first impression for all guests arriving at the hotel
  • Support the day to day operation of the Reception team, ensuring service flows smoothly
  • Lead by example in delivering genuine, attentive and personalised guest service
  • Support the team in resolving guest requests and enquiries to achieve positive outcomes
  • Ensure team briefings and meetings are effective, sharing insights and operational updates
  • Support with team scheduling and rota planning to ensure efficient coverage
  • Monitor team performance, grooming standards and service delivery
  • Drive room revenue through upselling and encouraging the team to promote hotel services and facilities
  • Maintain strong knowledge of rooms, rates, availability and hotel amenities
  • Ensure guest profiles and reservations are accurately maintained within OPERA
  • Support room allocation strategies and ensure VIP preparations are completed in advance
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver crafted, personalised experiences
  • Encourage the team to achieve excellent guest feedback and review scores
  • Train, coach and support new and existing team members
  • Maintain strong communication with departments across the hotel to ensure seamless service
  • Support the development and maintenance of Front Office procedures and standards
  • Ensure all statutory, health and safety and company standards are followed

You bring experience in a Front Office or Reception leadership role within a luxury hotel environment. You are organised, confident and guest focused, with excellent communication and problem solving skills. Comfortable leading a team in a fast paced environment, you take pride in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting and developing those around you.
