Working Pattern: Full Time
Location: Based in County Hall, Chichester - Hybrid working available, 1 day expected in office with flexibility to cover leave where required.

We are looking for an effective Project Manager to deliver projects and execute plans covering a wide variety of subject areas.
Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are appropriately prioritised depending on directorate need, supporting projects across both the operational and strategic commissioning service areas.
This role requires a clear understanding of how robust project co-ordination can support continuous improvement and change using a variety of project management techniques. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to manage a number of teams, directly or indirectly, ensuring that the appropriate Change processes are followed and ultimately delivery achieved.
Examples of project work in this area are as follows:
* Ensuring consistent governance, decision making and performance management practice within Children, Young People & Learning (CYPL).
* Supporting the development and delivery of new initiatives in line with the Children First Transformation Plan.
* The implementation of the priorities identified within The CYPL business plan
Experience and Skills
Key Skills:
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders to ensure relevant aspects of the business are analysed, and changes successfully implemented.
- Ability to use recognised techniques and approaches for analysing & designing a business and its processes and embedding sustainable change.
- Ability to implement new processes and assess the impact of the modelled process on service delivery, identifying any enablers and dependencies to successful implementation and engaging with all key stakeholders necessary to implement proposed changes.
Qualifications and/or experience:
- Post graduate professional qualification relevant to programme, project or change management or equivalent level of significant experience.
- Understanding of human aspects and factors influencing change, with the ability to develop strategies, techniques and strategic alliances with key
- Experienced in delivering customer focused services that will improve services in the future through resource planning, creative problem solving and managing projects and strategies.
