Summary
We're seeking an experienced Anti Social Behaviour Officer to join our social housing client, managing ASB cases across Liverpool and St Helens. You'll work on an agile basis, with 2 x set office days per week (St Helens and Liverpool), so a driving licence with access to your own vehicle, valid business insurance, and flexibility to commute across these areas is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of ASB reports from initial complaint through to resolution
- Carry out investigations, conduct interviews, gather evidence including witness statements, and prepare case files
- Undertake site visits, estate walkabouts, and targeted hotspot work
- Support victims and witnesses, ensuring timely communication and safeguarding considerations
- Work closely with tenants, partner agencies, police, and internal teams to deliver proportionate and effective interventions
- Attend court to present evidence and represent the group where required
- Use enforcement tools and powers appropriately such as warnings, ABCs, CPWs, CPNs and preparing legal documentation for injunctions or possession proceedings
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in ASB, enforcement or community safety within social housing
- Strong understanding of ASB legislation, enforcement powers, and case management
- Experience of preparing legal case files and presenting evidence in court
- Confident communicator with a pro-active, problem-solving mindset
