Summary

ï¸ MIG Welder / Fabricator (Structural Steel / RSJs)

Location: Coventry
Pay: Up to £16.50 per hour (DOE)
Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
Overtime available

The Role

We are currently working with a well-established structural steel fabrication company based in Coventry who are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their growing workshop team.

This role will involve the fabrication and welding of structural steel components including RSJs, beams, columns and heavy steelwork for construction projects across the UK.

Duties

MIG welding structural steel components
Fabricating RSJs, beams and structural frames
Working from engineering drawings
Measuring, marking out and assembling steel sections
Grinding and finishing welds to a high standard
Working with overhead cranes and lifting equipment
Ensuring work is completed to quality and safety standards

Requirements
- Experience MIG welding structural steel
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience with RSJs or heavy steel fabrication
- Fabrication experience essential
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
