We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the team at our busy Beaconsfield depot. This is a hands-on role at
the heart of the branch, helping to keep the yard safe, organised and running efficiently while supporting both colleagues and
customers.

What you’ll be doing
• Operating a forklift safely to pick, load and unload vehicles
• Preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assisting customers, suppliers and delivery drivers arriving at the depot
• Helping maintain a safe, organised and well-presented yard
• Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues
• Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the yard and working closely with the wider branch team
What we’re looking for
• Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
• Experience working in a Builders Merchant environment
• Strong awareness of yard safety and operational standards
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive, reliable approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Eligible to work in the UK
Due to the location of the branch, your own reliable transport is required.
Competitive Salary Offered
Hours: 7am–5pm Monday–Friday, 7am–12pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days plus Bank Holidays
Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
