We are currently recruiting an experienced MIG / TIG Coded Welder for a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Newark. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for stable, full-time work with consistent hours.
Role Overview
As a MIG / TIG Coded Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding work on a range of metal components while ensuring all work meets required specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Performing MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials including mild steel and stainless steel
• Working from technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Ensuring all welds meet quality and coding standards
• Carrying out inspection of completed welds to ensure structural integrity
• Preparing materials and components prior to welding
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting production teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements
• Previous experience as a MIG and TIG Welder
• CSCS Card
• Working at hight
• Coded welding qualifications preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
