Nightshift Security Officer
Sellaness Lodge Accommodation Facility,Sellaness industrial Estate, Graven, Shetland, ZE2 9QR
- £17.19 per hour
- 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
- 73.5hrs per week - 10.5 hours per day
- Must hold a clean & valid UK driving license
Travel from Aberdeen to Shetland and return journey is paid by Sodexo with an allowance provided towards travel from home to Aberdeen.

What you'll do:
- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols
- Attend to front of house duties on site which include administrative duties along with additional duties within the inhouse shop.
- Monitor premises to prevent rule infractions
- Conduct regular patrols, ensuring a visible and reassuring presence
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Complete detailed handovers and report on any incidents
What you'll bring:
- A valid and in-date SIA Licence
- Proven experience as a corporate security officer or similar positions
- An eye for detail, with strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
- An understanding of security practices and processes
