We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Caring, Cleaning and Catering Assistantto join our team and play a key role in driving excellence.
What you'll do:
Assisting clients with Daily medications ensuring they are double signed by yourself and manager before they are dispensed.
Assisting client in getting their eye drops daily.
Assisting clients in Personal care such as washing, showering & Dressing
Ensuring clients are down for their daily meals.
Preparation of breakfast for clients in morning.
Changing the client bed linen when required and bringing it to laundry.
Carry out any daily activities as instructed by manager such as Walks, chats, games etc with the client.
Focus on the details: Carry out a range of scheduled cleaning tasks such as Client’s bedrooms, sanitary rooms, kitchenettes, hallways, parlours, community rooms etc. with efficiency and precision, ensuring that every space is maintained to the highest standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene: Take pride in keeping all areas clean, safe, and healthy.You'll be expected to take full ownership of your work, ensuring the environment reflects your dedication to quality.
Collaborate with your team: Participate in daily huddle meetings with management, where you'll discuss priorities, share updates, and align with your colleagues and manager to deliver the best results.
Manage supplies: Keep an eye on stock levels and restock consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning supplies, and other necessary items to ensure a smooth operation.
Champion safety and well-being: Be vigilant about health and safety practices.If you notice anything that could pose a risk, whether it’s a potential hazard or an incident, report it immediately to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
Training: to participate in any training /refresher training as required by management.
To assist the catering team in carrying out daily duties such as wash up, serving or cleaning when required.
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, cleanliness and neatness ensuring full Sodexo uniform is worn at all times;
To comply with statutory and company regulations in relation to chemical safety.
What you'll bring:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare
- Previous Experience in Soft Services and Caring
- Strong Ability to work on own initiative
