Summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Rental Homes Team within the Affordable Housing Division, overseeing the management service for an Affordable Housing contract with a major national housing provider. This pivotal role carries full responsibility for delivering a commercially focused, high‑performing service while strengthening collaborative partnerships across the contract. You will set high standards for client engagement, champion continuous improvement and work closely with operational leads, asset management, mobilisation, finance and income recovery to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery. Reporting directly to the Partnerships Account Director, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining excellence across the contract.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience within the Affordable Housing sector, with strong exposure to contract management and operational property management at a senior level. You will be confident leading contractual performance, nurturing key stakeholder relationships and delivering high‑quality reporting. Commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams are essential to succeed in this role.

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term remote contract starting in May 2026, with travel required to client sites in London and occasional national travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To present, lead and deliver performance contract meetings, reporting packs as required within the contracted terms with the client and be the key point of delivery, working with the operations team to complete the commercial objectives monthly in a comprehensive manner.
  • Key point of contact and dedicated resource to the client acting as the main point of contact for escalations, overseeing performance, working closely with the operational teams.
  • To deliver monthly KPI reporting packs and co-ordinate with the Partnerships Account Director and Associate Director of Operations to ensure all reporting packs inclusive of monthly finance packs, KPIS/P&L/ G2N/ OPEX budgets as required to the client when due.
  • Develop, promote and maintain strong relations with the client, both internal and external stakeholders.
  • To assist with internal budget setting across the business and financial management of the P&L, working alongside the dedicated Business Partner to Homes.
  • To set the standard with the operations team. To work closely with the mobilisation manager to onboard new schemes and the operation steam to effectively manage such new schemes efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
  • To raise and monitor revenue streams within contractual agreements for services inclusive of monitoring and ensuring uplifts are increased when due.
  • To manage and complete monthly invoicing across the revenue streams and compile month end commentary as required.
  • To attend management meetings if/when required.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in the Affordable Housing sector with strong exposure to contract management, including operational property management at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead contractual performance, including presenting and delivering monthly performance meetings, KPI reports, financial packs and other contractual deliverables.
  • Strong client‑facing and stakeholder‑management skills, acting as the primary escalation point while maintaining effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including experience supporting P&L management, budget setting, revenue monitoring and month‑end commentary.
  • Capability to coordinate and influence cross‑functional teams, working collaboratively with mobilisation, operations, finance, asset management and income recovery to drive high‑quality service delivery.
