Summary

Are you a fun-loving, creative person who loves working with children? Join Our After-School Club Team!

We're looking for caring and energetic Play Workers to join our fantastic after-school club, "The Ark". We create a safe, fun, and inclusive space for children aged 4-11, and we need someone who is ready to make a real difference in their day and be a part of an amazing team!

No experience is necessary—what's most important is your passion for working with children. We'll give you all the training you need to succeed, including the opportunity to work alongside our experienced, team members. You'll even get training for the Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification!

As a Play Worker, you'll be a key part of our team, helping to provide a fun and relaxing environment for children after a long day of school. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and participating in fun, creative activities and games.
Ensuring every child feels safe, cared for, and happy.
Helping to prepare and serve delicious and healthy afternoon snacks.
Working with the team to set up and tidy up the play area.
This is a permanent, part-time role. You can choose to work between 1 and 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm, during school term time.

The role pays on the Surrey Pay Scale Grade 3, which is £24,328 per annum (pro rata) £12.96 per hour.

**Free childcare places are included for children attending the school (Years R-6)**
