Our Construction team is expanding, and we are now seeking an enthusiastic Plumbing Teacher who also brings multi trade skills to support a broad and engaging curriculum.

Teacher Plumbing & Multi-Skills
Salary: qualified* up to £43,392, FTE
Unqualified up to £34,376 per annum FTE

We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to teach Plumbing to fulltime students and apprentices (up to Level 2), while also delivering elements of multi trade training where required.

You do not need a teaching qualification to work in Further Education, just a passion to educate tomorrow’s workforce. We will support the successful applicant to gain their teaching qualification whilst they work at no cost! **.


Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons in Plumbing and contribute to Multi Skills provision (e.g., basic carpentry, tiling, plastering, or general construction).
• Prepare, plan, and deliver learning sessions that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands on training to develop learners’ industry ready skills.
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support individual learning needs and help remove barriers to learning.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes success and independence.
• Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practice.


We would love to meet with you if you have;

• Assessor qualification (A1) and/or Verifier qualification (V1) or are willing to work towards this
• Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above
• Industry experience in Plumbing
• Experience teaching or training others
• Level 4 or above teaching qualification or are willing to work towards this
• GCSE Maths & English at a grade C or above or equivalent
• Additional multi trade experience across construction disciplines
