Summary
We are looking for an experienced wood machinist to load/offload our CNC machine within the Workshop
Programmes are downloaded to the machine & we require an enthusiastic operator to offload, number & palletise kitchen components, some of which will require edging on the edge bander
Key responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Loading materials, starting programmes & monitoring the process
Setup & Calibration: Setting speeds, feeds & tolerances
Quality Control: Checking finished parts are within acceptable & agree standards
Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning & basic maintenance
Troubleshooting: Making minor adjustments & reporting issues to the programmers
Skills needed:
Understanding of machining processes
Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
