Are you a Psychology graduate or Assistant Psychologist ready to make a positive impact on vulnerable children and adolescents?

At SWAAY, we are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our dedicated therapy team. Here, your work will directly
contribute to transforming the lives of the young people in our care.
For over 30 years, SWAAY have been providing specialised, high-quality residential care, education and therapeutic services for
young males aged 11-18 with developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour. We
are proud of our child-centred approach and commitment to reduce risk, address complex needs and empower young people to move
forward into safe, offence-free and fulfilling adult lives.
What you’ll do as an Assistant Psychologist:
* Work alongside a multidisciplinary therapy team, assisting with psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions,
including scoring psychometric assessments
* Develop your own caseload of individual work with young people under the guidance of a Forensic Psychologist
* Facilitate and support the delivery of group therapy
* Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks
You’ll make a great Assistant Psychologist at SWAAY if you have:
* BPS accredited Degree in Psychology
* Master’s in Psychology (desirable not essential)
* Resilience and ability to be reflective
* Experience conducting psychometric assessments or interest to learn (full training provided)
* Drive to develop professional capabilities
