Summary

Key Duties and Responsibilities Fundraising and Campaign Delivery:- Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns across the region, with a focus on Legacy, Regular Giving and In Memory donations Work with the Individual Giving and Lottery Manager to develop new fundraising campaigns and initiatives Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance supporter engagement and campaign promotion Help grow the number of Legacy supporters, Regular Givers and In Memory donors Support the development and implementation of sustainable Legacy, In Memory and Regular Giving strategies Develop and maintain effective supporter journeys to improve supporter experience and maximise income Work alongside the Individual Giving and Lottery Manager to help maximise hospice Lottery income Support families who wish to fundraise or donate in memory of a loved one by working closely with the Care team Analyse campaign performance using the hospice CRM system to identify opportunities for improvement Supporter Engagement and Relationship Management Maintain accurate supporter records using the hospice CRM database Manage supporter communications, mailings and reporting Ensure supporters feel valued, informed and connected to the work of the hospice Represent Barnsley Hospice at community events, networking opportunities and presentations Compliance and Best Practice Ensure all fundraising activity complies with relevant legislation and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice Keep up to date with current fundraising regulations and compliance requirements Support the development and updating of fundraising policies and standard operating procedures Team and Organisational Support Work collaboratively as part of the wider Income Generation team Provide support at large hospice fundraising events when required, including occasional work outside normal hours Share insights, skills and knowledge with colleagues to support income generation activities Other Responsibilities Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required by the Hospice Act as an ambassador for Barnsley Hospice, maintaining professionalism and integrity at all times Maintain strict confidentiality in line with organisational policies Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and data protection policies Work flexibly where required to meet the needs of the service This job description is not exhaustive but outlines the main responsibilities of the role.
