We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Cook Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of the afternoon shift, cooking and preparing home cooked meals, supervising the other employees on shift, cashing up and locking up.
Key Responsibilities:
-Team & Operations:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shift ensuring the team is running efficiently and providing high-quality meals.
-Food Safety & Allergen Management:Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and allergen control. Government allergen training required (can be provided).
-Financial Management:Handle cash control, safe checks.Requirements:
-Background in catering at a supervisory level.
-Level 3 Food Safety certification is desirable; however, training will be provided.
-Government allergen training (can be provided).
-An understanding of the Food Safety Management System.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Ability to handle financial tasks such as cash control and safe checks.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
