Summary
We are a family run business with shops in Edinburgh and Bathgate. We sell mobility equipment and furniture to elderly or disabled people across the central belt of Scotland.
We are looking for a FULL-TIME, permanent, furniture delivery driver/mobility engineer/warehouse work to work 5 days per week. Uniform provided.
Working within our very important delivery team the role is extremely varied and will involve mobility scooter repairs, delivery of rise and recliner chairs, electric beds and other mobility products to our customers in their homes. Our delivery drivers work between Bathgate and Edinburgh on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
* Experience working with batteries and basic electronics
* Be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team
* Have experience in lifting/manual handling – the role is physically demanding
* Have good mechanical engineering knowledge
* Be able to communicate verbally and be able to show compassion and understanding to our customers with a willingness to help.
* Clean driving licence
