This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the dynamic and integrated Academic General Practice team within the School of Medicine, dedicated to delivering clinical professional education in collaboration with students and clinical partners. Our team is a key part of a Medical School bringing together a wealth of expertise in research and education, creating a vibrant environment for collaboration and inter-professional learning. The school is proactive and forward-thinking, working closely with all stakeholders to continually enhance our outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic GP Clinical Lecturer who will be able to contribute to the Academic GP Team who play a key role in supporting the strategic ambition and direction of the school, contributing to many aspects of education in the School of Medicine. The team support teaching delivery of the curricula across all three medical professional courses (medicine, physician assistant and paramedic science). We are responsible for recruitment, quality monitoring and support of community educational placements GP in line with GMC guidance. The team not only support our Medical School clinical programmes but also contribute to the wider university strategy of supporting our local NHS by increasing the attractiveness of GP careers in the region
