- 39 hours per week

Location: Prince Michael of Kent Court, Stratford Rd, Watford WD17 4DH

As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll be a key player in keeping the Home safe and fully functional. With your practical expertise, you’ll take pride in tackling repairs, whether it’s fixing plumbing, ensuring fire doors and lighting are working, or handling other maintenance tasks. You’ll respond swiftly to challenges, working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure safety and comfort. If you’re resourceful, adaptable, and thrive on solving problems with a hands-on approach, you’ll fit right in.

About the Role

As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests and ensuring the Home remains safe and functional. This includes checking water temperatures, testing electrical equipment and handling plumbing repairs. You’ll also help ensure fire safety and complete minor carpentry work, working alongside the Facilities Manager to keep the Home running smoothly.
