Summary
Building Surveyor / Residential Property Surveyor
Salary:
- From £450 per day based x2 home buyer surveys.
- 50:50 equal fee split with the company; ambition and quality of report is the only limit to earnings!
- 3 / 4 surveys per day and you could earn £1,000+.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Surveyor seeking a balanced workload, strong operational support, and the chance to deliver high-quality residential surveys without unrealistic targets.

Duties
Your duties as the Building Surveyor / Residential Property Surveyor include:
- Conducting Residential Surveys:Completing pre-acquisition surveys to a high professional standard.
- Report Production:Producing clear, accurate, and well-structured reports using iPad-based systems.
- Time Management:Managing inspections efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.
- Client Communication:Delivering professional and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Performance Targets:Meeting agreed targets with rewards linked to quality and performance.
- Process Improvement:Engaging with continuous improvements to systems and processes.
- Team Collaboration:Participating in team meetings, shared learning, and CPD activities.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Residential surveying experience.
- RICS, CABE, or CIOB qualification.
- Degree in Surveying or Building Pathology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competence using surveying equipment and iPad-based reporting systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
