A friendly and supportive primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Part‑Time Year 6 Teacher to join the team from the beginning of Term 5 through to July. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner to guide pupils through their final term of Key Stage 2.
The RoleThe successful teacher will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging Year 6 lessons
- Marking, assessment and feedback
- Creating a positive, structured learning environment
- Preparing pupils for transition into secondary school
You will be teaching a challenging but rewarding Year 6 class, and you will have support from an experienced Teaching Assistant in the classroom.
What We're Looking ForWe'd love to hear from teachers who are:
- Qualified (QTS required)
- Skilled and confident with Upper KS2 curriculum content
- Strong in behaviour management, with a calm and consistent approach
- Passionate about supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing
- Able to build positive relationships and motivate learners
