This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, supporting some of the most advanced technologies used in defence, aerospace, rail and transport applications.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring complex engineering test and certification programmes are delivered successfully - coordinating technical teams, managing client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest technical standards.

The Opportunity

Working within a highly skilled project management team, you will oversee laboratory-based testing programmes including:

  • EMC (defence and civil)
  • Battery and RF testing
  • Packaging and product safety testing

You'll act as the key interface between clients and technical testing teams, ensuring testing programmes run smoothly and that final reports are delivered promptly so clients can move forward with their product qualification programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and laboratory testing teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage testing and certification projects from initiation through to final reporting
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the testing process
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules and resource coordination
  • Work closely with test supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of samples and documentation
  • Coordinate internal teams, specialist equipment, and external subcontract testing providers
  • Maintain accurate project forecasts and reporting using internal project management tools
  • Ensure contractual deliverables are met to enable prompt invoicing and commercial performance
  • Visit clients when required to support project delivery and relationship management

  • Good understanding of commercial drivers and project profitability
  • Strong client-facing communication skills

The team works with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading clients, offering the chance to develop your career in a technically challenging and rewarding environment.
