Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 25Mossview Care Home is a modern care home located in the heart of Lochgelly, Fife providing high quality Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. The home combines comfortable, contemporary surroundings with compassionate, person centred support in a warm and welcoming environment.

- £12.21 per hour
- 25 hours per week
- Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
The Role
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in preparing meals and maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment. Your role will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well prepared meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Working closely with the Head Chef and wider team, you will assist with food preparation, manage kitchen deliveries and ensure all areas of the kitchen remain clean and well organised. You will follow food safety procedures at all times and help ensure the kitchen operates efficiently to support the dining experience of residents.
What We Are Looking For
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a reliable, positive attitude
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential
