Summary
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Salary: Up to £29,900

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will be a key part of the team, supporting the growth and development of young children in a stimulating and nurturing environment. This role is ideal for a passionate, dedicated individual looking to contribute to an Outstanding-rated nursery and make a difference in early childhood education.
Qualifications Required:
- Early Years Qualification: Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience in Early Years: Previous experience working with children from birth to 5 years old in a nursery setting.
- Knowledge of Ofsted Standards: Familiarity with maintaining high standards of practice as required by Ofsted.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to Child Development: A passion for supporting young children’s growth and development in a creative, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Activity Facilitation: Lead and participate in a variety of activities that support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development, from creative indoor play to adventurous outdoor exploration.
- Child Development: Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and milestones, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Safety and Well-being: Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children, ensuring health and safety protocols are consistently followed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow practitioners to deliver high-quality care, sharing ideas and supporting each other in maintaining an Outstanding standard of education.
- Parent Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, regularly communicating updates on their child’s development and day-to-day experiences.
- Compliance: Adhere to nursery policies and regulations, including safeguarding and Ofsted standards, to ensure a compliant and supportive environment for children.
