We're currently recruiting passionate and qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to join our dedicated supply team in Dorset and Surrounding Areas!
If you're a qualified teacher (with QTS) seeking flexible opportunities, wanting to maintain your work-life balance, or looking to gain experience across different schools while specialising in your subject — we have fantastic placements waiting for you.
We have particularly high demand for specialists in the following subjects:
• PE (including team sports, fitness, outdoor education)
• Humanities (History, Geography, RE)
• Languages (French, Spanish, German and others)
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths — especially Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science)
• English (including Literature, Language, and GCSE/A-Level preparation)
Why join us as a supply Secondary Teacher?
• Flexible assignments to suit your availability — day-to-day cover, short-term (1-6 weeks), or longer-term placements (term or full academic year)
• Work in a range of excellent secondary schools (including academies, comprehensives, and specialist settings) across Dorset and surrounding areas (such as Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester, Weymouth, Bridport, Blandford Forum, Lyme Regis, Swanage, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Verwood, Christchurch, Ferndown, Wimborne Minster, and nearby locations)
• Competitive daily pay rates — typically £140–£230+ per day (depending on your experience, qualifications, length of assignment, and subject specialism — higher rates often apply for in-demand subjects like STEM, Languages, and PE)
• Personal support from our local consultants who know the Dorset and surrounding secondary schools inside out
• Build a varied CV with experience across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in different school environments
• Clear pathways to long-term roles or permanent positions in our partner schools
• Access to free CPD sessions, subject-specific training, and safeguarding updates
What we're looking for:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome!)
• Proven experience teaching in secondary settings (NQT/ECT year or more preferred, but we value strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm)
• Strong subject expertise in PE, Humanities, Languages, STEM, or English — or willingness to cover general lessons
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one — we can guide you through the process)
• Right to work in the UK
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and student engagement
• Positive classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young people
We especially welcome applications from teachers with experience in high-demand areas such as GCSE/A-Level delivery, SEN support within subjects, or practical/creative teaching approaches in PE, STEM, and Languages.
If you're a dynamic secondary teacher ready to bring your subject expertise to schools in Dorset and surrounding areas on a flexible basis, we'd love to welcome you to our team!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
