About the Service

Join our dynamic Housing Support team, where no two days are the same. We provide person‑centred support to two men in their 50s who are deafblind and have complex needs. Communication is key, and we focus on connecting in ways that truly matter to them.


Who We Support

You’ll support two energetic, adventurous gentlemen who live independently in their own homes in Pollok. They enjoy swimming, long walks, meals out, exploring new places, and even travelling abroad for Deafblind International’s annual activities week. They thrive on companionship, structure, and meaningful routines.

You’ll work 2:1, supporting daily living at home and in the community—building strong, trusting relationships that help them live full and independent lives.


What You’ll Do

Provide support at home with personal care, housework, medication, meals, finances and companionship
Support meaningful activities and community involvement
Communicate clearly and respectfully
Liaise with families and professionals
Promote independence in line with Support Plans
Keep accurate daily records
Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team


Shift Pattern

35 hours per week with a mix of:

>Day shifts (e.g. 7.30am–2.30pm / 10am–4pm)
>Longer shifts (10am–10pm) followed by a sleepover until 10am
>We’ll work with you to create a fair rota.
